Tiêu đề:VLSI Design and Verification using SystemVerilog, with Applications to Communication Systems

Abstract: SystemVerilog is the third generation of the Verilog language, and it is widely used in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) chip design and verification projects.  Modern approaches for the functional verification of complex digital VLSI systems are largely based on constrained random verification techniques and associated functional coverage measurements.  Object-oriented, randomized testbenches composed of generators, drivers, monitors, checkers and scoreboards can be readily developed using the SystemVerilog language.  In this presentation, I will describe some of the important features of SystemVerilog.  I will also highlight two related graduate-level courses on VLSI design and verification at the University of Minnesota.  Finally, I will describe some of my VLSI research projects in the area of communications systems.
