Anh Trần Vĩnh Đức nhận học vị Tiến sĩ Khoa học máy tinh của Trường Đại học Nice – Sophia Antipolis, CH Pháp. Hiện nay anh là giảng viên tại bộ môn Khoa học máy tính, Viện CNTT&TT – ĐHBK Hà Nội. Hướng nghiên cứu mà anh đang quan tâm là Mật mã và Độ phức tạp tính toán.
