Tuan-Dung Cao is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). He received his Ph.D. in computer science in 2006 from University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis.

From 2012 to 2015, Tuan-Dung Cao was the head of the Department of Software Engineering and in 2016 he became Vice Dean, responsible for academic affairs at School of Information and Communication Technology, HUST.

His research areas include Web, Semantic Web, Web service, Knowledge Representation and Management, Mobility, Context-Awareness, Linked Open Data. His current research focuses on applying Semantic Web technologies in the development of Question Answering, ChatBot, and Smart Tourist systems.
