Kiem-Hieu NGUYEN is a lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Information technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2007. After that, he completed his PhD in Information technology at University of Ulsan, Korea in 2013. His thesis is about unsupervised and knowledge-based methods to Word sense disambiguation. During two years and a half, he had pursuited a post-doc at LIMSI and CEA-LIST, France on the topic of timeline generation and event schema induction. He has been working at Hanoi University of Science and Technology as a lecturer since 2015. He teaches the courses in  C programming and the courses at the edge of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, including Natural language processing, Web mining and Graph analytics. His research interest includes information extraction and Vietnamese language processing. He has publications in major top-tier conferences in the domain of Natural language processing (ACL, EMNLP, COLING, LREC, Cicling, Pacling). He also serves as reviewer for such conferences and domestic conferences (SOICT, KSE, RIVF).
