Profile
Ph.D. Nguyen Ba Ngoc is a lecturer in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). He is fluent in Russian language, along with teaching and doing researches, he also loves programming and programming languages very much. He was a student of HUST, in the first year in HUST, based on excellence scores of the first semester, he received a government scholarship to go studying abroad, in Russia. He studied the first year of the educational program in Irkutsk National Research Technical University, and the next years in Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU). After finishing his engineering degree, he continued to do Ph.D. research in TPU. With achieved results in analyzing information retrieval models and developing a new information retrieval model using the Semantic Web technologies to provide a new and better way for information access, he successfully defended his dissertation in 2012 in Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the RAS (ICMMG SB RAS), and received his Ph.D. in 2013 from Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
